Sunday, 22 March 2009
Dubai: Unsettled weather conditions are expected to prevail in the next 24 hours, with isolated rain and thunderstorms, an officer at the Dubai Meteorological Office said on Sunday.

The current cloudy condition is due to mid-level moisture in the air, which is not unusual as this time of the year.

"Temperature tends to pick up this time of the year, coupled with moisture it results to thunderstorms," the Met officer said.

He said the maximum temperature recorded stands at 36 degree Celsius, while the minimum stands at 26 degree Celsius.

"If we get some light showers the relative humidity will linger between maximum 70 degree Celsius to minimum 10 degree Celsius," the Met officer said.
